It's game night tonight and we'll see if I'm gonna be able to do my homework while watching the boys play against the Red Wings in Motor City. Of course, if the Canucks played like they played last game against St. Louis then I can relax and know that I'll be done my homework in no time (I missed that game due to my late class, so thankfully I didn't have to watch Vancouver get demolished by the Blues!) Everyone finds out extremely fast that I'm a HUGE hockey fan and even a BIGGER Vancouver Canucks fan. Kids, I actually love them game so no Puck Bunny references, thanks!
The Canucks are 10-9-0 going into the game this evening and if they lose they obviously are at the .500% mark AGAIN. So come on boys! Though their past record for the past ten games isn't bad (6-4-0), they really need to be a team out there tonight especially after the Red Wings completely assassinated Columbus with a 9-1 victory and Canucks lost 6-1 to St. Louis. I believe Luongo is starting tonight (personally if you ask me, I can go on forever about how Raycroft has won my heart and that he should stay in net (but this is what happens when you have an all-star goalie I guess)) which should ease the boys up as far as the net goes (I still love Raycroft the most!). Mason Raymond has 4 goals and 6 points in his last 6 games so you know he's gonna be adding to his stats tonight, let's not get started on Kesler because he's just a monster!
As far as the Red Wings (8-5-3) go, they also have a bunch of injuries, due to that they claimed Drew Miller from the Tampa Bay Lightning to fill one void at least. They have that momentum building and they definitely don't wanna stop now because they know just like we all know, those stats next to the name Detroit Red Wings have people scratching their heads.
Should be an interesting game!
Little note to Detroit: HA. HA. HA. WE have Samuelsson and YOU DON'T! I've ALWAYS loved him so much so you can imagine the excitement I went through when I heard that he signed with us =D
Cheers,
Bee.
