So part two of my birthday present from Ozzy were tickets to the HIM concert that took place on April 16th, at the Commodore Ballroom. The opening bands were...well very terrible (and because of that I'm not even gonna name them). Okay here's the thing, for about the past...three years I kinda lost touch with HIM. It's not that I didn't like the band anymore, just more of the fact that I was listening to more different types of music, I guess that's a reason. Anyways, so when Ozzy told me she's getting tickets for the show I got pretty damn excited. They released their latest album, 'Screamworks', I listened to it and just got back into them. Now let's talk about the show itself. AMAZING. Oh. My. God. I forgot the energy they have on stage! (back in 2007 I took Ozzy to a HIM show for her birthday, without tickets...hehe, we got in nonetheless). They played a lot of their older stuff (which made me very happy) and WOWOWOWOW just WOW! Ville Valo has such a unique aura to him! LOVE IT! This time around we decided that we were going to watch the show from afar, and we took upstairs of the Commodore. It was okay though, I was able to experience them front row before and both Ozzy and I agreed that we could enjoy them more from our comfortable, none sweaty places upstairs. That did not stop us from singing at the top of our lungs and dancing though. <3
I want them to come back again, like really soon.
Byeeee,
Bee.
