So I've been very very busy latelt (what's new?). Aside from work and school, this weekend was pretty packed. Saturday one of my dearest friends got married. It was such a cute and amazing wedding. The ceremony was beautiful and the venue for the reception was sooo cute! Loved it and danced the night away!
Sunday. Well Sunday morning was a drag because of work but after work Jen, Ozzy and I went to Music BC Charitable Foundation's first ever Dinner & Auction at the Seasons in the Park at the Queen Elizabeth Park. It was such an amzing experience. Me being someone who holds music so close to my heart I really enjoyed being able to go to an event like this and even do my bid to raise money for music in BC. I'm really glad that there is an organization like this in BC, I remember growing up I was fortunate enough to go to piano and guitar lessons, I had the experience in grade 7 band (I played the clarinet and now I wouldn't be able to tell you any of the notes). Even near the end of my time in high school it was so obvious where the cut backs for money was happening in schools, the music and art department. Anyways, we met really great people, very jubilant characters. I loved it. And I totally outbid someone for a signed Elvis Costello package.
Then the after party happened...at the Roxy. Well actually it started off with a bunch of shots (I don't remember) and drinks at the Met THEN it was the Roxy. Um, I think I let myself go a little too much but whatever I deserve it. I get too stressed with school and work. We met George Stroumboulopoulous at the Roxy, he's such a nice guy, really he is.
Anyways I'm gonna end my lame post. But before I go I'm going to leave you with a link to the Music BC Charitable Foundation's website. Go to it!
