Firstly, I just want to let you all know that the Canucks just beat the Avalanche and brought themselves to the top spot in the NHL, weoooooo!!!!
I was wondering at the end of December if I had any New Years resolutions, but nothing really came to mind. That is, until today I generated a list of things to do. So here it is (in no specific order) :
Spare bedroom
I would like to change the use of that room and get some clutter out of my room. At first I was thinking of making it my closet but now that idea has been vetoed. Now, I've decided that I'll be changing that room into my space where I keep all of my CDs, LPs, DVDs, and books. I'll have my record player, ipod dock in there too. Lastly, it's not a final decision, maybe I'll have a little seating area. We'll see. When this happens I'll post before and after photos.
Missing those horses!
I would like to get back onto a horse! I have wanted to do this a really long time now, I just haven't really really thought about it as much as I do now. Even if I'm not riding, I would like to at least be around them more often...I just remember the days where I'd be at the stables all the time, it was so nice!
Education
I do great in school, but I can do better. I want to focus more on school and put more time and care into my projects. Now that I have a an actually drafting table I know I'll be more dedicated to spending more time anyways.
My Yamaha
My beautiful piano has been neglected for so many years now. Playing the piano was a big part of my life and growing up and I miss it! I actually started to play my exercises!
My Renaissance
Just like my piano, my guitar has also been very neglected. Not as long as my piano but this is still bugging me just as much. The first step I need to take for this to happen is get it fixed! My strings are old, brittle, some even broken. I need to desperately clean the neck as well. But that's a very easy fix! This is exciting!
Good Health
I know this one is so cliche, but I would really like to achieve this. Not only do I want to eat more healthy, I want to exercise more (because there's no other feeling than after a great work out!), and I need to keep my mind clear of all negativeness. Because I think of too many things, or even linger on many other things I need to learn to let some things go. With school, work and everything else in between being healthy physically and mentally will keep me sane!
Organization!
Whether it be organizing for school or my room or socially, I need to be way more organized. I need to stay on top of things better!
Charity
I would like to be involved in a charity event. Maybe another Music BC charity dinner, or even donating some money (given I have the money to spend!).
Fishies
I want to go to the Vancouver Aquarium. I haven't been there in years! I used to love going to see all the fish and beluga whales!
Let's not go broke
Plain and simple. Spend less money.
That's all I have so far. Hopefully some of these things I can share with a special someone...hmmm putchie?
Good night!
Bee.
This is quite the list! I guess my job will be keeping the sanity. I'm definitely down with visiting some fishies and horsies, and the spending less-ness too!
